Anyone recommend any good inking pens? I’m using these pigma brushes at the moment. And felt tip pens don’t go too well over pencil.

Sadly, this took me 3 hours. Initially I started it as a painting, but that didn’t work. Then started doing line work in Photoshop and that didn’t work either. So in the end, I just threw in some colours with my original line work to create the sense of form.

So so far to go.

Oh, and I’ve been listening to this masterpiece of a track composed by Hans Zimmer for the Batman Begins soundtrack. Always gets me in the doodling mood 😉

And I just realised something. The strap that sits on top of the shoulder shouldn’t be stretching over to the top of the bicep. Oh well.

I see you’ve made it to my new blog. Well it’s not entirely new, I actually carried over some old doodles and art over from my old blog.

Anyhow, I just moved in. So please don’t mind the mess. For the regular readers, I’ll be focusing less on random stuff, and more on thoughts and art.

So like, I bought the epic game Batman Arkham Asylum the other week. And like, it’s the best superhero game, ever. It’s so gonna be Game of 2009 (after Modern Warfare 2). For sure.

Anyhow, I finished it and everything, but like today, it totally crashed and corrupted my save file. That was like, 16-20 hours of play time. Gone. Oh well, at least my XBOX Achievements are still there.

Colour has never been my forté. I’ve always had trouble selecting colours that create harmony, yet look awesome. So most of the time I revert to monochromatic. Maybe it’s the sombre mood that the lack of colour brings to an image that I find quite pleasing.
